  1. How do the complimentary ski and golf benefits work?
    • As a River Club Owner, you will also be a member of the Telluride Ski & Golf Club entitling you to complimentary lift passes for owner and spouse/significant other while in-residence. During the summer, owner, spouse/significant other and children age 23 and younger do not pay a golf green fee while in residence. It is that simple.

  2. May I leave things in storage at the River Club?
    • Yes, all owners at the River Club have use of storage bins, as well as the ability to store skis/snowboards. A 2-bedroom owner is entitled to four bins and four pairs of skis/snowboards. A 3-bedroom owner is entitled to six bins and six pairs of skis/snowboards. Storage bins will be placed in the owner’s unit for each of their upcoming arrivals.

  3. Are pets allowed at the River Club?
    • Yes, the River Club is pet friendly. Pet friendly residences are all located on the first floor and reserved on a first come, first served basis. A pet fee of $100 per stay will be charged. The Pet Policy is available by request.

  4. Does the River Club provide babysitting?
    • Many of the River Club’s concierge staff provide babysitting services during their time off for an additional fee. In the event one of our concierge is not available, we keep a list of qualified babysitters for your convenience.

  5. How does the complimentary transportation work?
    • The River Club has two suburbans for transporting our owners and their guests anywhere in the Town of Telluride, and to and from the Telluride Airport. The service is complimentary and on an as needed basis. In season, our valet transportation is available from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm.

  6. What ongoing fees will I have after I make my purchase?
    • The River Club strives to eliminate “hidden costs”. Once you have purchased your River Club ownership, your ongoing costs will include your HOA dues paid quarterly and the nightly usage fee during your stays at the River Club. Nightly usage fees are $25/2-bedroom unit and $35/3-bedroom unit.

  7. Will I have to pay property taxes?
    • Property taxes are already calculated into and included with your HOA dues. You will not have a separate payment for property taxes.

  8. Will I need to get property insurance?
    • No. Property insurance is also included with your HOA dues and it is not necessary to obtain a separate policy.

  9. Is it possible to see the financials for the HOA?
    • Yes, we would be happy to share this information with you. Please call us at 970-369-5200.

  10. What is the parking situation at the River Club and is there a fee?
    • The River Club has an underground, heated parking garage. All owners are permitted use of one parking space during their stays at the River Club. There is no parking fee.

  11. Can I come more than the weeks I own?
    • Yes. The River Club permits space availability for owners only. A space available stay may be requested 30 days or less from the planned date of arrival. The fee for a space available stay is a cleaning fee of either $90/2-bedroom unit or $120/3-bedroom unit in addition to the nightly usage fees.

  12. How are planned weeks selected by owners?
    • Planned weeks are selected on a rotating priority. We would be happy to provide you with a copy of the rotation schedule and discuss in more detail. Reservation requests can be submitted by completing a form on the Members’ Website or by sending an email or fax.

  13. Will I receive notification when it’s my turn to reserve my planned week?
    • Yes. The River Club will send out a reminder postcard in the mail at least 3 weeks prior to your scheduled booking date each season.

  14. How will I know what is available before I submit my request?
    • The River Club Members’ Website lists the availability during each booking season, as well as space availability. Reservation requests may be submitted directly from the website.
