Biking in Telluride is a classic summer pastime. Casual bikers can cruise down the Valley Floor, which is located just outside of the River Club, or the more daring biker can take on the rolling hills and steep drops at the Telluride Bike Park. For lingering around town, please inquire about the River Club's cruiser bikes, which are free to use for guests. In addition, the River Club concierge can arrange other bike rentals and tours if needed.

Where We Like to Bike

While there are plenty of trails and adventures available in Telluride and the surrounding areas, here are a few of our favorite places to check out on two wheels:

  • Telluride Bike Park - Telluride has taken its biking to a whole new level with a brand-new bike park. While there was previously a bike park with jumps and terrain, there is now an additional 15 trails and 17 miles of maintained routes located on the Ski Resort property for daily use. Riders can access the terrain off of Lift 4 or the gondola from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily for a fee.
  • Valley Floor - The San Miguel River Trail, located right outside the River Club, offers a flat gravel surface for guests to cruise on. It winds up on the Valley Floor, which can take you all the way to the end of the valley and back - with views the entire way.
