COVID-19 in Telluride

An Update on COVID-19 From the River Club & San Miguel County

The River Club, whose short-term rentals are managed by Alpine Lodging Telluride, is currently open for the season with heightened cleaning measures in place.

 

Occupancy Restrictions:

Alpine Lodging Telluride's lodging occupancy as a company is currently restricted to 50% maximum daily capacity limited to a single household per lodging unit. A household is defined as the person or persons who live together in a single residence. Per San Miguel County Public Health Order 2020-06, lodging shall be limited to a Single Household in any unit. A Single Household is defined by a person or persons who live together in a single residence. Reservations can be denied or cancelled for those in violation. In addition, at no time shall the amount of people located within the short-term rental space exceed the maximum sleeping capacity. This is punishable by fines and/or jail time as enforced by the county. 

 

San Miguel County has issued a Public Health Order which is more aligned with the State's Executive Order. The quarantine for second homeowners has been lifted and River Club deeded owners are able to use their planned winter weeks. 

 

All guests are required to read and be familiar with the most recent San Miguel County orders and adhere to them during every stay.

River Club's Updated Policies for Short-Term Rentals Through Alpine Lodging Telluride

  • Any rental reservation booked through Alpine Lodging Telluride can be moved to different dates in 2021 with no penalty. Current payments are non-refundable and guests are responsible for any increases in rates for the new dates.

Prevention

  • Frequently wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If that is not possible, use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue, or use your inner elbow or sleeve. 
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. 
  • Stay home if you or anyone else in your household is sick. 
  • Clean surfaces in the home regularly.
  • Ill people should use a facemask to protect those around them.
