COVID-19 in Telluride

An Update on COVID-19 From the River Club & San Miguel County

**Updated April 3, 2020**

Given the current situation with COVID-19, San Miguel County has extended its Public Health "stay-at-home" order through May 1, 2020, at the earliest. Due to this public health order, the River Club and Alpine Lodging Telluride will not be permitted to host any short-term guests at this time. Any in-house guests are being asked to return home and no check-ins will be allowed before May 1, 2020.

In addition, the Telluride Ski Resort and Gondola have been closed as well as all non-essential businesses. Per Colorado Governor Jared Polis, all dine-in services at restaurants and bars will be prohibited until April 17 at the earliest. He has also ordered gyms, theaters, coffeehouses, and brewpubs to close. Some take-out options will be available in Telluride.

While it is extremely disappointing for us to not be able to host any guests at this time, we know it is the best path forward for the health and well-being of our guests, employees and community.
