La Marmotte

La Marmotte Telluride

Romantic French Eatery

La Marmotte is Telluride's premier French restaurant, offering wonderful cuisine accompanied by excellent service in a beautiful venue. The structure itself was built 130 years during the mining era to hold ice for use in the summer. It's rustic, warm, sophisticated and, without a doubt, romantic. During the summer, customers can dine al fresco on the patio underneath twinkly lights and sunshade sails.

Chef Will Nolan, a native of New Orleans and a passionate advocate of sustainable sourcing, helms the kitchen. In 2012, he was nominated for Food & Wine Magazine's best new chef and was also featured on the Today Show that the same year.

While La Marmotte features fine French classics like escargot, beef tartare and charcuterie, it also has seasonal fare like lobster pappardelle & truffles and garlic & herb roasted chicken. If you are short on time, try sitting at the bar. There is a bistro menu featuring Croque Madame, French onion soup, crabmeat & artichoke gratin and terrific steak frites. A thorough wine list that includes several champagne options completes your meal.

La Marmotte is the perfect place to take your time, sit back, relax and enjoy an experience that satisfies all your senses.
